Canada tour- Day 5, Outfit 1 Charlottetown

"The couple were on Prince Edward Island, the setting for one of Kate's favourite childhood books, Anne of Green Gables Set in the 1870s, the novel recounts the life and times of a feisty red-headed schoolgirl, Anne Shirley, who is adopted by brother and sister farmers in the mistaken belief they are taking in a young boy." -Dailymail-
Duchess dressed for the occasion in a nautical-style cream and pale blue cable-knit pencil (it must have been a man from Clarance house who thinks this is a pencil dress, it is really far, really from being pencil) dress by Alexander McQueen, one of her go-to designer since her wedding. Although a lot of sites said it is a dress designed by Sarah Burton we have to believe that it's the late Alexander McQueen's design as we could have seen it (a different colour version) on Sarah Jessica Parker in 2006 when he was still alive. She paired her sailor inspired dress with navy pumps, her Diana sapphire earrings and thank God she pulled her hair back which I think is so much better than her usual hairstyles.

Canada tour- Day 4, Outfit 1: Québec

Today started with a morning prayer, as it is Sunday on the cruise. Then they visited a youth center and took part in the Freedom of the city ceremony.
Kate choose from Erdem's pre fall collection (like on their first day), it was the Jacquenta dress, a blue-lace combo again. She paired it with LK Bennett Sledge2 heels (seen it a million times on her before), an unIDed clutch with her Diana sapphire earrings.

Remembering Diana

Lady Diana would be 50 years old today. Although Prince William didn't mention it in his speech, I wanted to say how sorry I am for the loss that shocked the world almost 14 years ago. I would like to acknowledge how beautiful she was, both inside and out, her greatness and her new approach towards issues like AIDS, landmines, people suffering. She truely was the princess of people and the queen of hearts. She will never be forgotten and I have all the hopes in the world that her sons will carry on her legacy.
With this song I want to ask everyone to take a silent moment and remember her: Candle in the wind
She may rest in peace forever!

Seriously?

Am I the only one offended and disturbed by this stupid, disrespectful Newsweek article and photo?

Wimbledon

After days and days of waiting and struggling to see a bit of the Duchess we are finally in paradise, as she was a part of a military event on Saturday and now she visited Wimbledon and watched Andy Murray's match with William and there is SO MUCH to come as we're just days away from their North American tour.
With that being said let's talk about her outfit:
She wore a white Temperly London Moriah dress(£395) with probably the same LK Bennett Sledge pumps that she wore at the derby and at church. She wore the same mysterious braclet as on Saturday and the Diana sapphire earrings that we saw at church.

Kate's earrings at Prince Philip's birthday

Kate's earrings on today's church service was very similar to a pair of earrings of Lady Diana, her mother-in-law. Some changes must have been made, but it is really, really similar.
